Alex Rodriguez returned to the New York Yankees as an advisor on Tuesday and says there is a "zero" percent chance he'll make a return to the field.

It marked the first time the 41-year-old said he is officially retired. Rodriguez admitted he briefly considered making a comeback after his unique breakup with the Yankees last August.

"I thought about it for a minute," he said. "I flew the whole family home after that Friday night. I thought about it a little bit that weekend. I was fortunate to have a few offers. I called them back and said, 'No thank you.'"
