Vin Scully, who is entering his 67th season behind the microphone for the Los Angeles Dodgers, has said that this will likely be his final season.

The Hall of Fame broadcaster sounded certain about that this weekend at the team's annual FanFest.

Scully does not intend to work outside California this year. He will call games at San Diego and the two-game May series in Anaheim against the Los Angeles Angels.

He hopes to finish his career with the Dodgers' season-ending three-game series at San Francisco.

"[I was] a kid who was born and raised in the streets of New York, who grew up literally and figuratively in the Polo Grounds and was a rabid Giants fan. I confess that. It's good for the soul," Scully said. "I think I would love to finish in a game between the Dodgers and Giants. God willing it will work out. We'll see, but the best-laid plans of mice and men usually go up in smoke."
