The Cincinnati Reds have activated Devin Mesoraco from the disabled list.

They plan to use him as their primary catcher this season.

Mesoraco wasn't in the starting lineup Monday at St. Louis. Bryan Price says he had Bryan Pena catching Tony Cingrani because the two worked well together in the second game of the season.
