Adam Dunn has confirmed that he will go to the Academy Awards on Sunday for a whirlwind trip that might not last more than 36 hours.

Dunn is an investor in the production company that made the film "Dallas Buyers Club."

"Dallas Buyers Club" has six Oscar nominations, including best picture, best actor for Matthew McConaughey and best supporting actor for Jared Leto. Dunn had a cameo in the film as a bartender.

"It will be cool, a lot of fun," Dunn said. "I don't really know a whole lot about it. People have parties for this kind of thing so it must be pretty cool."
