John Farrell confirmed on Monday that Jon Lester will start Game 1 of the World Series for the Boston Red Sox.

He will face Adam Wainwright of the St. Louis Cardinals at Fenway Park.

Farrell said the final roster and other lineup and rotation decisions have not been finalized, but he expects to have everything in order by Tuesday afternoon.
