Today the Pirates optioned OF Alex Presley to Triple-A Indianapolis and are expected to recall RHP Duke Welker from Indianapolis.
 
In 25 games with Indy this season, Welker has gone 3-1 with three saves and a 2.78 ERA.  He was recalled by the Bucs a first time on May 8, but was optioned back on May 11 without having appeared in a big league game.
 
Welker is expected to join the Pirates in time for their game in Cincinnati this afternoon.
