Toronto Blue Jays broadcaster Jack Morris sought out Boston Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz and apologized to him before Friday night's game between the two clubs.

In Toronto last week, Morris accused Buchholz of throwing a spitball after watching video of the right-hander's performance.

"I told him I was sorry that I had taken attention away from what he was doing -- that's not what I was trying to do," Morris said. "I told him to have fun with it.

"We're cool. He was cool with it. That's all that matters to me. As long as he's cool with it, I don't care what anyone else thinks."
