Carlos Quentin, who returned to the San Diego Padres on Tuesday night, says he has spoken to Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Zack Greinke since their brawl on April 11.

The incident left Greinke with a broken collarbone and Quentin with an eight-game suspension.

Quentin charged Greinke after he was hit by a pitch, leading to a bench-clearing brawl.

"First, I thanked (Greinke) for taking time to speak with me," Quentin said. "We were able to talk and have a good productive conversation. As far as the details of that conversation, that's personal."
