Chase Headley was especially disappointed when Team USA was eliminated from the World Baseball Classic following a loss against Puerto Rico.

If USA had won, he would have left the Padres and the Cactus League and joined the team for the semifinals in San Francisco as the replacement for injured David Wright.

"Obviously I was looking forward to the opportunity to represent the country," Headley said.

"It didn't work out, so it's disappointing in one way. I'm sure for the guys who were directly involved, it was a lot tougher for them."
