Derek Jeter's fractured left ankle has passed the final test for him to be allowed to play in an exhibition game, according to the Yankee shortstop.
"It is 100 percent healed, and now we move forward," Jeter said.
Jeter batted in a simulated game against Andy Pettitte on Friday.
The 38-year-old underwent ankle surgery after suffering a dislocation in Game 1 of the AL Championship Series in October.
