Domonic Brown, 25, is 4-for-6 with two extra-base hits in three games this spring.

He needs a strong start to the season after spending the last two years as an intriguing prospect that hasn't gotten extended playing time at the Major League level.

Ryan Howard and Jimmy Rollins have both issued public support for Brown, who they clearly believe is ready to receive regular playing time in Philadelphia. He is one of the few players on the team's roster that has a ceiling much higher than his current level of play.
