Oakland closer Huston Street left the second game of the Athletics' doubleheader against Kansas City on Friday night with a strained right groin. Street took the loss after giving up a two-run double to Mike Sweeney. The A's were swept in the doubleheader, losing the first game 7-1 and the second 5-3. "He just got more sore as time went on," Oakland trainer Larry Davis said. "He felt it earlier (in the eighth inning) and he kept on pitching."
