The Mets have had conversations with the Rangers about R.A Dickey.

Dickey, who is under contract for 2013 at $5 million, has discussed a potential contract extension with New York as well.

In talks with Texas, the Mets asked for Mike Olt, but the Rangers haven't yet countered.
