Despite rumors to the contrary, Scott Boras says that Rick Ankiel has no plans to return to the pitching mound.

"Rick Ankiel is a position player," the agent said. "He's not pitching."

Ankiel began his career as a pitcher, but remade himself as a hitter several years ago with success.
