The Astros' season has not been pretty to this point, but the future should be getting brighter real soon.
The Astros are expected to recall top pitching prospect Jason Hirsh to make his major league debut Saturday against the Padres.
The 24-year-old Hirsh has dominated the Pacific Coast League this year, going 13-2 with a 2.13 ERA for Class AAA Round Rock. The starting pitcher for Team USA in last month's Futures Game, Hirsh has won 12 straight decisions since losing back-to-back starts in late April.
