Larry Bowa has confirmed that he met with the Astros about their managerial job this week.

Bowa managed the Padres in 1987 and 1988, and later managed the Phillies from 2001-04. He also served as a coach with the Phillies, Angels, Mariners, Yankees and Dodgers.
