CC Sabathia is only planning to remain on the disabled list for the minimum amount of time. "August 24," the New York left-hander said of when he'll return. "That's the day I'm pitching." Sabathia is hoping his left elbow will clear up within the next two weeks and will allow him to come off the disabled list Aug. 23, the soonest he is eligible to return. "I feel like in a couple of days, I'll be fine," he said.
