David Ortiz still feels pain in his right Achilles, and might receive an injection Monday to help reduce the inflammation in his heel. Ortiz was placed on the disabled list July 16, meaning he was eligible to return on Aug. 1. "I might get injected tomorrow," he said Sunday. "I'm thinking about it. Not cortisone or anything like that, I don't know. I have to talk to the doctor. I've got to get more information. I've got to talk to the doctor because I'm still very sore." Ortiz was hitting .316/.414/.609 before landing on the DL.
