Hunter Pence, who was acquired by the Giants on Tuesday afternoon in a trade with the Phillies, has warmed to San Francisco quickly. Pence was asked if he would be open to signing a long-term deal with the Giants and he responded: "Absolutely. That would be wonderful." Pence cannot become a free agent until after the 2013 season and will be eligible for arbitration one last time this winter.
