Hanley Ramirez lost his cool during Miami's loss to the Cardinals on Sunday. After grounding out in the sixth inning and falling to 2-for-22 on Miami's road trip, Ramirez returned to the bench and punched a cooling fan in the dugout. He sliced his knuckle open and was forced to leave the game. The third baseman had two stitches put on his knuckle just above his ring finger, but is expected to be fine for the start of the second half. "Very stupid injury, very immature," Ozzie Guillen said. "You're going to hurt yourself because you can't hit? Good hitters don't do that. Good hitters battle back and try to get better. Your injury doesn't just hurt yourself, you hurt your ballclub." The Cardinals rallied and won the game. "I got mad," Ramirez said of why he punched the cooling fan. "I think its starting to bother me because I know we can do better than this. Personally, I'm not comfortable with what I'm doing right now. I know I'm playing hard, but at the same time I have to produce more."
