Martin Perez will make his first major league start on Saturday when the Rangers play the Athletics. The 21-year-old was called up on Tuesday to give the club an additional bullpen arm. "I hear it's a little different," Perez said of starting. "I will try and do my best with my pitches and keep it low and do the best that I can." Perez made his big league debut in Wednesday's 13-9 win over the Tigers and gave up four runs (one earned) on two hits with a walk in less than an inning.
