The Twins agreed to terms with Byron Buxton, the second overall pick in last week's First-Year Player Draft, late on Tuesday night.
Buxton's contract includes a $6 million signing bonus, according to a source.
The bonus is the largest given to a player in this year's draft class, $1.2 million more than No. 1 overall pick Carlos Correa (Astros).
