Carlos Quentin could become the most sought-after hitter on the trade market this summer. There aren't likely to be a lot of front-line hitters on the market as the July 31 trade deadline approaches. The Padres may still make an attempt to re-sign the outfielder, but his name has been mentioned as a likely target. Quentin hit a pair of home runs on Tuesday night and in six games since coming off the disabled list, he has 12 hits in 23 at-bats for an OPS of 1.925. Buster Olney of ESPN.com speculates that the Reds, Rays, Indians, Dodgers and Braves could all make a play for Quentin.
