Ryan Dempster is all for a trade if that is what's best for the Cubs organization, but he will leave that up to the front office. Dempster is in the final year of a four-year contract that will pay him $14 million in 2012. "I think I would be doing everybody in that locker room and anybody who is a Cubs fan and most importantly the Cubs organization a huge disservice if I didn't put all my focus and attention on trying to make my start and do the best I can to help us win," the right-hander said Wednesday on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "You're in a situation where if it does happen, they are going to do what's best for the Chicago Cubs, and I'm all for that." Dempster, 35, has full no-trade rights as a player with at least 10 years of major league experience and five with the same team.
