The Padres have narrowed their search for a new owner down to four, according to a source. Majority owner John Moores put the Padres up for sale on April 10. Peter O'Malley's family is one candidate as they recently joined forces with Phil Mickelson. Legendary Pictures CEO Thomas Tull is another candidate. Tony Gwynn is involved in Tull's prospective group. David Wolfe, Dennis Gilbert and Steve Cohen are also in the mix.
