A year after making the National League All-Star team, Gaby Sanchez has been demoted by the Marlins. Miami announced Sanchez had been optioned to Triple-A New Orleans after their 2-0 loss to the Indians. Sanchez went 0 for 3, dropping his average to .197. He has one homer and 11 RBIs.
