Brian Cashman says he will have no problem doing his job this season despite a suddenly public personal life.
The general manager is involved in a stalking and extortion case.
"I have a professional and personal life," Cashman said. "I will continue to do my job to the best of my abilities."
Cashman was involved in a sting that resulted in charges against Louise Neathway, 36, for harassing Cashman and threatening to harm his reputation if he didn't give her thousands of dollars.
Shortly after the charges were filed, Cashman's wife, Mary, filed for divorce in Stamford, Connecticut.
