Cole Hamels will be eligible for free agency this November and the Phillies would like to keep that from happening. The left-hander avoided salary arbitration with a one-year, $15 million agreement last month. Hamels' agent, John Boggs, is expected to visit with team officials in Florida at some point during Spring Training.
