The Mariners said in a teleconference to announce their recent trade with the Yankees on Monday that Jesus Montero will get a chance to play catcher. Montero is likely to get at-bats at designated hitter and first base as well. Seattle also has John Jaso, Miguel Olivo and Adam Moore at catcher.
