The Phillies have an open roster spot on their 40-man squad, but they aren't going to fill it with a "major" move.
"It's unlikely we'll be signing anybody else to a major-league deal," general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. said. "We like the club we have heading into camp."
Any further additions to the team's spring-training roster would likely come on minor-league contracts.
