Scott Boras, the agent for Michael Bourn, says he has yet to begin formal discussions with the Braves regarding a possible contract extension for the outfielder.
Bourn, 29, a two-time Gold Glover and 2010 NL All-Star, was acquired by Atlanta from the Astros on July 31.
He hit a combined .294 with two homers, 50 RBI and a major league-leading 61 stolen bases for the Astros and Braves last season.
It marked the third straight season in which Bourn led the big leagues in steals.
