Despite the Braves languishing in the unfamiliar confines of the NL East basement, John Smoltz says he doesn't want to leave Atlanta. "I am perfectly happy here," Smoltz said yesterday. "I expect to be here, in this uniform and playing hard as I can." Smoltz created a firestorm recently when he was asked if he would ever consider waiving his no-trade rights as a 10-and-5 player. "The question was posed if we fall out of race, would I entertain it, and my simple answer was yes," said Smoltz, who is slated to start tomorrow against the Yankees.
