The Angels entered talks for free-agent Albert Pujols on Wednesday, according to a source close to the team. Meanwhile, representatives for Pujols remain entrenched in talks with the Cardinals and baseball people are becoming less skeptical about reports that a third unidentified team was also in on the first baseman. The other team that had been aggressively chasing Pujols, the Marlins, has moved on to pursue free agent pitchers. USA Today reported that the Angels, who didn't meet with agent Dan Lozano until Wednesday, made a 10-year offer worth at least $210 million.
