The Tigers have agreed to a two-year contract with infielder Ramon Santiago. Santiago, 32, hit .260 in 101 games last season, playing mostly second base. He hit .295 after the All-Star break, helping Detroit pull away to win the AL Central. He was one of four players to make at least 22 starts at second base for the Tigers in 2011, along with Ryan Raburn, Carlos Guillen and Will Rhymes.
