The Red Sox won't decide anything Friday in regards to hiring a new manager and the earliest an announcement will be made is next week, according to team sources. Gene Lamont and Bobby Valentine both met with Boston executives earlier this week. Torey Lovullo remains in the mix, but has not advanced as far in the process as the other two.
