Cardinals right-hander Chris Carpenter has been dealing with a sore elbow lately, but the club says the injury isn't a cause for concern at this point. Carpenter is expected to start for St. Louis in Game 1 of the World Series against Texas on Wednesday night. A club source said that Carpenter experienced some soreness coming out of his last start, in Game 3 of the NLCS against Milwaukee on Wednesday, but that "all is well now."
