Former White Sox hitting coach Greg Walker is in talks with the Braves and Padres for the same position, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. Walker, 52, resigned his position with Chicago at the end of the season. The Georgia native was the White Sox hitting coach for 8 1/2 seasons after being promoted from Triple-A Charlotte in May 2003.
