Cardinals right-hander Chris Carpenter shrugged off negative comments made by Brewers starter Zack Greinke prior to the start of the NLCS. Greinke called Carpenter's attitude "phony." "That's fine with me if that's how he feels," Carpenter said. "He doesn't know me very well." Greinke criticized Carpenter on Saturday, saying that his teammates didn't like the 2005 NL Cy Young winner very much. "They think his presence, his attitude out there sometimes is like a phony attitude," Greinke said. "And then he yells at people. He just stares people down and stuff. And most pitchers just don't do that."
