Brewers right-hander Shaun Marcum will start Game 2 of the NLCS against the Cardinals. Milwaukee Ron Roenicke made his rotation official on Sunday by picking Marcum for Game 2 and left-hander Randy Wolf for Game 4. Yovani Gallardo already was lined up for Game 3. Marcum is now lined up for two home starts in the series even though he was better on the road in the regular season. He had a 2.21 road earned run average this season, lowest in the league. But, as he noted, that didn't help in Game 3 of the NLDS in Arizona when he surrendered seven runs in 42/3 innings in an 8-1 defeat. "Obviously, the road thing didn't work out last round," Marcum said. "So, hopefully, things are turning around. It's just one of those things. You go through stretches and go through years where you have better road numbers and not-so-good home numbers. "But this is a new season right now. It's the postseason. We have to put the past behind us and come out (Monday) ready to go and not worry about what's happened so far this year at home."
