Johnny Damon and B.J. Upton, the two most important Rays with uncertain futures, both say they want to remain with the franchise. Damon will be a free agent this winter, while Upton figures to be mentioned in trade rumors once again. "I don't even feel like packing anything up," Damon said. "I felt like this was the perfect fit. ... I would love to be back." Upton is in line to make about $7 million through arbitration in his final season before free agency. "I'm hoping I'm back," he said. "That's out of my hands, I've got nothing to do with that. But I've grown up with a lot of these guys, and the guys we've acquired, I enjoy being around them. So hopefully next February I'm still in a Rays uniform."
