Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw all but secured the National League's pitching triple crown with his last appearance of the season on Sunday. Kershaw leads the NL with 248 strikeouts, is tied with Arizona's Ian Kennedy with 21 wins and has the league's lowest ERA (2.28). "He had the ability, but I don't know if he thought he was going to be this good so soon," outfielder Matt Kemp said. Jake Peavy (2007) was the last NL pitcher to win the pitching triple crown. "It's been an awesome year," Kershaw said. "I don't like to look at personal stuff too often, but now is the time I can start looking back a little bit."
