Cliff Lee, who has been masterful in the postseason recently, fully expects the first-place Phillies to win it all next month. "I expect us to win the World Series," Lee said. "But nothing is going to be handed to us." Lee is 16-7 with a 2.38 ERA this season and his six shutouts are the most in a single season since Randy Johnson threw six with Seattle and Houston in 1998. "I think he's fulfilled and exceeded our expectations," Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. said. "He's been great. He's done what we've asked. I'm definitely glad we got him back. The streak he's had has been unprecedented. It's been unbelievable. When he's hot, he's smoking hot. He's as good a pitcher as there has been in the history of the game when he's hot."
