Rays principal owner Stu Sternberg expects manager Joe Maddon to remain with the team past his current contract, which expires after the 2012 season. "I have no reason to think he wouldn't be here, just like I didn't last time (when he was extended) or the time before that," Sternberg said. Maddon has led Tampa Bay to the playoffs in two of the last three seasons and has gotten them back into contention late this year.
