Reds closer Francisco Cordero has a $12 million option for 2012, but the team will consider signing him to a contract extension. "We've discussed it quite a bit," general manager Walt Jocketty said. "We haven't made a final decision. Hopefully, we'll address before the end of the season." An extension is a "possibility" Jocketty said. The Reds don't have an obvious replacement for Cordero on the roster.
