Twins center fielder Denard Span is determined to play again this season.
Span has been on the disabled list because of August 18 with migraine headaches.
"I definitely want to go into the offseason having played again, even if it's only for the last week or so of the season," he said.
"It's more for my psyche, knowing this offseason that I'm OK and that I will be fine, as opposed to going into the offseason and not playing at all, then showing up in spring training and having to figure things out and go through all that. So that's definitely a goal of mine."
After starting the season on a career-best pace, the Twins center fielder suffered a concussion in a home-plate collision with Kansas City catcher Brayan Pena, and he hasn't been the same since.
Though the concussion is considered healed, and he returned to play, Span is suffering from vestibular migraines that first propped up in 2008.
