Saturday night's game against the Mets was pretty special for Nationals starting pitcher Tom Milone. The California native, making his first Major League start, allowed four runs on six hits in 4 1/3 innings. He threw 74 pitches, but it was his bat that made noise. Milone homered to right field in the second inning. The at-bat was his first as a Major Leaguer. The three-run home run briefly gave Washington a 5-0 lead.
