The attorney for former Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Jason Grimsley claims that federal investigators tried to have Grimsley wear a wire and lure other baseball players into talking to him about steroid use. It is speculated that the federal investigators wanted to use this tactic to find out more information about Barry Bonds. Grimsley apparently signed a sworn affidavit that named other baseball players who had abused steroids.
