Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro was in the lineup on Tuesday night, a day after being benched by manager Mike Quade.
Quade made the decision, calling it a "mental day off" rather than a benching, after Castro was seen not paying attention during a game against the Cardinals on Sunday night.
Castro is back in his customary leadoff position for the second game of Chicago's three-game series against the Braves on Tuesday night.
