Mets right-hander Mike Pelfrey met with manager Terry Collins on Saturday following negative comments he made to The New York Post. The Post quoted Pelfrey as saying it was "unrealistic" for anyone to think the Mets would win it all. "I didn't think I said a negative thing," Pelfrey said. "That is why I was shocked." After meeting with Pelfrey before the game, Collins agreed with his pitcher. "It was a tough day for him," Collins said. "He came into the ballpark getting ready to pitch and he gets hammered on things he didn't expect. Then he gets hit by a line drive on one of the days he had some of his best stuff."
