Carl Crawford did not start for the second consecutive game on Saturday night against the Blue Jays after hurting his left knee on Thursday night in Baltimore. "I was hoping I would come in today and I'd be feeling better," Crawford said. "But I still can't drive off it. So I'm just going to take it day by day." Rays manager Joe Maddon said they didn't want to push it. "With a guy like him, you use the old clich?, you want to err on the side of caution," Maddon said. "You just want to make sure he's well and there's no hang-ups with him whatsoever. Maybe just one more day might do the trick."
